Green/Purple Splash Branching Hammer

Green/Purple Splash Branching Hammer (Fimbriaphyllia paraancora) is a large polyp stony coral (LPS) with colourful tipped tentacles protruding from the mouths on a branching skeleton. As with most other LPS coral they require stable parameters within recommended ranges. They are best suited to low to medium light and flow conditions, but too little flow can cause detritus to build up on the coral tissue and cause harm to the colony, too much flow can tear the large fleshy polyps.

Photo is of the mother colony. Frags may vary in appearance.
